Maryam Quddus Station of the Tehran Metro, on the occasion of commemorating the high status of the Armenian martyrs, is hosting the 'My Life for Iran' exhibition. This cultural event, aimed at keeping the memory of the martyrs alive, especially the Armenian martyrs, was inaugurated on October 20th. Families of the esteemed Armenian martyrs are also present at this exhibition, which narrates the bravery and self-sacrifice of these dear ones who fought alongside other Islamic warriors on the front lines of truth against falsehood.

Purpose of the Exhibition

Mousa Pasandi, the Deputy for Cultural and Social Affairs of the Tehran Metro Operating Company, stated at the inauguration ceremony that holding such cultural events in the metro space helps strengthen the bond between different generations of the revolution with the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom. He emphasized that this exhibition is a suitable opportunity for the general public to become familiar with the history and culture of Armenians in Iran, who have always actively participated in defending the territorial integrity of the country throughout history.

The Role of the Armenian Community in the History of Iran

The 'My Life for Iran' exhibition serves as a reminder that Armenians in Iran, as a nation with a rich culture and history, have always stood alongside other Iranians during critical moments in the country. This exhibition, by showcasing images and documents related to the Armenian martyrs, reminds us of the sacrifices of these dear ones and the deep cultural bond that exists between the Armenian community and other Iranians.

The presence of the martyrs' families at this exhibition not only demonstrates respect and reverence for their memory but also provides an opportunity for the younger generation to become acquainted with the history and culture of this community. Holding this event can encourage new generations to learn more about different cultures and peaceful coexistence in Iranian society.

According to Mousa Pasandi, this exhibition, as a symbol of empathy and cooperation among different ethnic groups in Iran, can serve as a model for future foresight and social solidarity. He also added that organizing such events in the metro, as a public space, can have a significant impact on promoting the culture of sacrifice and selflessness.

Overall, the 'My Life for Iran' exhibition is not only a cultural event but also an opportunity to renew our commitment to the human and cultural values that have always been significant in the history of Iran. This exhibition can be seen as an important step towards strengthening solidarity and empathy among Iranians.
