Citizens can call 137 on Fridays to announce their request for bulky waste collection. After registering the request and providing the address, the execution process for collection will begin. The CEO of the Waste Management Organization noted that after the request is registered, the information and address are sent to the responsible person in the area, and the matter is referred to the urban services contractor.
Mechanism for Collecting Bulky Waste
After receiving the information, the operational teams will visit the provided address and proceed to load the bulky waste. The collected waste will be transferred to the Waste Management Organization's bulky waste processing centers. Thus, this process is designed to enhance the cleanliness of the urban environment and better manage household waste.
In conclusion, Alfatpour urged Tehran citizens to participate in the regular execution of this service by submitting their requests through the 137 system and adhering to the announced schedule, while avoiding the improper disposal of bulky waste in unsuitable areas of the city. This cooperation can help improve the urban environmental situation and better manage waste.
