The likelihood of flooding in the provinces of Lorestan, Ilam, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, and northern Khuzestan has been declared at a warning level due to the intensity of the rains. Amin Hossein Naqshineh, a meteorological expert, reported on the occurrence of torrential rains, flooding of seasonal rivers, waterlogging of streets, and disruption in transportation.

Arrival of a New Rain System
Naqshineh noted that starting from Tuesday, a new rain system will enter from the west of the country, with torrential rains and thunderstorms expected in various regions, including the northwest, west, and southern slopes of Alborz. Additionally, this rain system will be active on Wednesday along the Caspian Sea coast and the southern slopes of Alborz, with scattered showers also anticipated in the east and southeast of the country.
On Wednesday, the activity of this system will continue in the eastern regions, northeast, and southern slopes of Alborz and the coastal provinces of the Caspian Sea, and by the end of Wednesday, it will exit the eastern borders of the country.
Safety Recommendations for the Caspian Sea and Gulf Coast
Adverse weather conditions are also predicted along the Caspian Sea and Persian Gulf coasts. Increased wind speeds and wave heights in coastal and offshore areas of Khuzestan and Bushehr provinces will pose dangers for swimmers and recreational boats. Therefore, it is recommended to refrain from swimming and to limit the movement of light and recreational boats.
In Tehran, with increasing clouds and wind, the likelihood of scattered showers is predicted. Temperature fluctuations in the capital will range between 15 to 24 degrees, and it is expected that the temperature will drop to 21 degrees on Tuesday.
Reports indicate that the average temperature in the country has increased by 2 degrees Celsius over the past week compared to the long-term period. The provinces of Alborz and Golestan have experienced the highest temperature increases. Given this weather situation, people should exercise more caution in their travels and daily activities.
