During this period, the occurrence of rain showers, thunderstorms, temporary strong winds, and even hail in some susceptible areas is predicted. Given the high potential of this system, risks such as flooding, seasonal river overflow, street flooding, and disruption in transportation are expected for the residents of these areas.
Important recommendations from the Meteorological Organization
The Meteorological Organization has advised citizens to avoid traveling along riverbanks and streambeds and to exercise caution during non-essential trips. Additionally, nature tourism activities and the movement of nomads should be postponed.
Other important recommendations include the preparedness of executive and rescue agencies to deal with weather conditions. Municipalities should be ready to clean channels and drains and take measures to prevent damage from strong winds. Caution in traffic and avoiding parking vehicles near unfinished buildings and ancient, decayed trees have also been emphasized.
Furthermore, the Meteorological Organization has issued a yellow alert for some other regions of the country. The provinces of Khuzestan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Isfahan, Qom, Markazi, and several other provinces will also be affected by the activity of this rainfall system.
The predicted rainfall could lead to rising water levels in rivers and street flooding, posing risks such as lightning strikes and slippery roads. The Meteorological Organization has advised farmers to refrain from spraying solutions and pesticides under these conditions and to move agricultural products to safe locations.
Given the intensity of this rainfall system and its potential consequences, it is necessary for everyone to act cautiously and pay attention to the recommendations of the Meteorological Organization.
