Pejmanian, emphasizing the necessity of changing approaches in environmental management, stated: In today's world, humans are harming the planet with wars and destructive decision-making. This planet is the habitat of humanity among countless galaxies, and its destruction threatens our existence.
The Beauty of the Earth and Bitter Realities
Pejmanian pointed out the beauty of the Earth from a spatial perspective and the contrast with the realities resulting from human actions, stating: When we look at the Earth from above, we encounter a beautiful planet, but when we settle on it, we see heartbreaking scenes. Wars, destructive actions, and the wrong decisions of rulers have all led to the destruction of these beauties.

The President, referring to the words of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (AS) about the greatness of creation and the necessity of avoiding self-aggrandizement, added: We are all travelers on this planet and must avoid its destruction. Nature will return the consequences of our actions and confront us with its outcomes.
The Necessity of Education and Changing Perspectives
Pejmanian considered the protection of the environment and natural resources as an intergenerational necessity and identified education as the first step in this path. He noted: If we destroy natural resources, restoring them to their original state will not be easily possible. We must prevent the formation and spread of destructive factors from the beginning.
He criticized simplistic attitudes towards environmental protection, emphasizing that if everyone remains indifferent, nothing will remain of nature. Protecting the environment requires accountability from everyone.
Pejmanian also referred to the necessity of revising the development model and managing water resources, stating: Tehran and its surrounding cities are facing environmental problems, including water shortages. Continuing development under these conditions is unacceptable, and we must pay attention to the balance between resources and consumption.
In conclusion, the President emphasized the necessity of reforming policies and collaborating to solve environmental issues, stating: We must prevent environmental destruction and think about the future of the country. Protecting nature is a public responsibility, and everyone must cooperate in this regard.
