The Golabdareh neighborhood in the second district of Tehran will soon undergo significant transformations with urban and service projects. Hadi Haqbin, the district mayor, elaborated on these projects and announced the commencement of executive works.

Hiking Trail and Cultural Complex

One of the important projects in this neighborhood is the unveiling of a new hiking trail, which is introduced as a tourist attraction. The contractor for this project is currently stationed, and the necessary funding for the construction of a one-kilometer tourist trail is being secured. Additionally, the Golabdareh cultural complex is expected to be operational within the next two months, and it is hoped that these actions will improve the quality of life for the neighborhood's residents.

Urban Renewal and Improvement

The lack of parking in Golabdareh is one of the fundamental issues in this neighborhood, which will soon be addressed with the implementation of multi-story parking plans, increasing the number of parking spaces to four units. Furthermore, the renovation plan for 25,000 residential blocks in the neighborhood has begun, particularly focusing on the restoration of Vaziri Garden. The Hikmat and Jamaran neighborhoods will also undergo renovation, followed by the establishment of a fruit and vegetable market in Golabdareh. Additionally, the taxi terminal in this area will also be changed.

Environmental Projects and Tree Planting

The municipality is also paying special attention to environmental projects and tree planting. In Vali Asr Street, 100 saplings have been planted, and 2,400 saplings have been registered. Moreover, the improvement project for Tajrish Square has begun, preserving existing trees and adding 13 saplings to the green space in this area. The Jahan Didagan Park will also be operational in the Alif Square within the next eight months.

Attracting Investment and Renewing the Transportation Fleet

The Golabdareh area, with its high capacity for attracting investment, has identified 19 investment opportunities after a decade of stagnation, with 8 projects reaching the contract and execution stage. Additionally, the complete renewal of the regional bus fleet and asphalt operations with a 50% increase are other notable actions. Finally, identifying and resolving traffic bottlenecks and improving the road network are also on the agenda.

These transformations are particularly promising for the residents and daily users of the Golabdareh neighborhood and can contribute to improving the quality of life in this area.
