Need for Coordination for the Conference

This meeting took place at Yerevan State University, where both sides emphasized the need for greater coordination between the university and the cultural attaché to ensure that this conference is held in an organized and appropriate manner. Asadi-Moayed appreciated the collaboration of Yerevan State University with the cultural and scientific programs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and emphasized the continuation of these collaborations.

The cultural attaché of Iran pointed out the importance of Yerevan State University's collaborations with Iran in various fields, including Iranian studies, Persian language and literature, and history, adding: "These collaborations can help develop communications between the scientific and cultural centers of the two countries."

Goals of the "World Free of Violence" Conference

Asadi-Moayed stated that the goal of this conference is to strengthen scientific and legal dialogues about peace, justice, and human rights. He considered holding sessions with the participation of experts in international law and human rights as an opportunity for exchanging views and increasing public awareness about ways to combat oppression and violence.

He also noted that the presence of legal scholars, university professors, and researchers from Iran, Armenia, and other countries could contribute to forming a scientific and multilateral dialogue on this topic. He emphasized that universities, as centers of knowledge production and intellectual dialogue, have significant capacity for discussing such issues.

Presence of the Imam Khomeini International University Delegation

Asadi-Moayed referred to the capacities of Imam Khomeini International University in terms of accepting and granting scholarships to foreign students, conducting training courses, and exchanging faculty and students. He said: "The presence of a delegation from this university in Yerevan can facilitate the more practical implementation of the existing memorandum of understanding between the two universities."

In this meeting, the topic of the presence of guests and scientific and legal figures from Iran and eight other countries was also discussed. Mikael Hovhannisyan also expressed Yerevan State University's readiness to continue cooperation and carry out necessary coordination, referring to the international nature of the program.
