Heidari, an educational expert, criticized the lack of effort in promoting the rich Iranian culture at a cultural meeting and emphasized the need to revitalize traditions. Referring to the Chaharshanbe Suri ritual, he introduced this celebration as a tradition with deep cultural roots that unfortunately has been reduced to the sale of fireworks and dangerous incidents in recent years.

The Necessity of Revitalizing Chaharshanbe Suri

Heidari stated that Chaharshanbe Suri is not just a celebration, but a symbol of our cultural and historical identity, calling for this tradition to be revitalized in a way that not only attracts young people but also places them in a safe and healthy environment. He added: "We need to think about how we can present this celebration as an opportunity for young people and use it to foster national and cultural identity."

Countering Cultural Polarization

The educational expert pointed to the importance of creating a space for traditional celebrations and rituals, saying: "In today's world, where cultural polarization is spreading, we must move towards strengthening cultural solidarity and avoid separation and division." He emphasized that revitalizing Chaharshanbe Suri could be effective in this regard and foster a sense of unity and empathy among young people.

Heidari also pointed to the need for a change in societal attitudes towards traditional rituals, stating: "We must use our traditions as rich cultural resources and teach young people what these celebrations mean and how they can contribute to improving society." He noted that encouraging young people to participate in traditional rituals and providing suitable platforms for this purpose can help strengthen their national and cultural identity.

In conclusion, Heidari called for cooperation among various institutions, including cultural, educational, and social organizations, to better revitalize and promote Iranian traditions, stating: "We must act as soon as possible to save these traditions from the danger of being forgotten and pass them on to future generations."
