The Renewal Headquarters and scrap centers issued a statement determining the status of the pending cases from 1404 and announced new regulations to expedite the vehicle delivery process to scrap centers.
Status of Pending Cases
According to this headquarters, the prolonged pending status of some applicants from 1404 in the acceptance stage for more than a year has caused confusion in the systems and automakers, leading to issues such as overlapping records, conflicting information, and the continuation of previous registrations. In order to organize this situation and after correspondence with Iran Khodro, Saipa, and Bahman Group, it was determined that over 26,000 applicants have still not delivered their vehicles to scrap centers after a year.

Return to General Registration
Based on inquiries made from automakers, about 22,000 of these individuals had no pending cases or payments with the automaker, and accordingly, their status was reverted to "general registration." The Renewal Headquarters announced that if any of the applicants whose status has returned to general registration has made a payment to the automaker and claims to have an active case, the relevant scrap center is obliged to formally communicate this matter along with payment documents to the Association of Scrap Centers.
In another section of this announcement, to prevent prolonged litigation and case backlog, it was decided that starting this month, applicants who are in the acceptance and selection process for a scrap center will have a maximum of 60 days from the automaker's call to deliver their vehicle to the relevant scrap center. If they fail to visit and deliver the vehicle within this timeframe, the case will be dissolved, and the applicant's status will be downgraded to "general registration."
At the end of this announcement, while emphasizing the obligation of all scrap centers to inform the provisions of this announcement and display it for visitors, it was stated that the definitive responsibility for visiting and delivering the vehicle within the specified timeframe rests solely with the applicant, and the Renewal Headquarters and scrap centers will bear no responsibility for the consequences of delays or failure to deliver the vehicle.
