Khosrow Mokhtari, the head of the National Housing Fund, referring to the new process of granting the 200 million toman loan to applicants, stated that by this morning, 20,000 people have been introduced to banks to receive these facilities. This interest-free loan is intended to support individuals involved in the National Housing Movement projects under construction.
New conditions for receiving housing loans
Mokhtari explained that previously, large loans were paid in bulk to projects, but now these facilities are being granted individually to each applicant. This change in the payment method is aimed at assisting those who are unable to deliver their housing units due to a lack of financial contribution. According to him, these changes will expedite the loan disbursement process, although the workload has increased due to the rising number of applicants.

Developing cooperation with banks
The head of the National Housing Fund also emphasized the necessity of developing cooperation with other banks and stated that the Minister of Roads has also stressed this issue. Mokhtari expressed hope that by the end of this month, the facilities would be injected into the National Housing Movement projects at a desirable level through beneficiaries. He also noted that Bank Sepah will add resources in the form of interest-free loans to these facilities based on the applicants' contributions.
Mokhtari clarified that the disbursement of loans will be prioritized for projects that are closer to completion and delivery. In other words, projects whose construction operations have been completed, but applicants are unable to deliver their units due to financial incapacity, can be prioritized for receiving loans.
Integrated Housing Information System
Mokhtari also referred to the importance of reviewing applicants' information in the Integrated Housing Information System (TAM System) and stated that resource allocation will not be done without assessing the status of projects and applicants. This system helps banks to be more precise in the loan disbursement process and to utilize resources in the best way.
Finally, Khosrow Mokhtari emphasized that the financial resources for these facilities must solely be provided from the bank's own resources, and there is no possibility of using resources from other banks. This issue reflects a special attention to the needs of applicants and support for residential projects under construction.
