The US dollar reached 187,540 tomans at the Iranian currency and gold exchange center. This price increase reflects the ongoing policy of gradually adjusting rates, which began months ago and continues uninterrupted. In this context, the buying rate of the dollar also reached 185,852 tomans, indicating price stabilization at higher levels.

Increase of Other Strategic Currencies

Alongside the dollar, the selling rate of the euro remittance also reached 209,973 tomans, and its buying price stood at 208,083 tomans. Additionally, the UAE dirham, known as the pulse of commercial remittances, was traded at a selling rate of 51,066 tomans and a buying rate of 50,606 tomans, showing a rise compared to the previous day. This trend indicates high market demand for various currencies.

Analysis of Asian Currency Markets

Among other commercial currencies, the Chinese yuan reached a selling level of 28,220 tomans. Furthermore, the price of one hundred Japanese yen was recorded at a selling rate of 119,027 tomans, and one thousand South Korean won was sold at a rate of 140,712 tomans. These figures indicate the continued step-by-step and ongoing adjustment of official remittance rates to meet the country's import needs.

These currency rate changes occur while the Iranian currency market is in a sensitive condition, and their impacts on trade and the economy of the country are clearly observable. It seems that with the continuation of these policies, we will witness more fluctuations in currency rates, which could have various consequences for different economic sectors.
