The Director General of Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announcing Iran's new programs in the African continent, emphasized the importance of holding the National Agriculture Meeting of Iran and Africa. This meeting is aimed at expanding cooperation and creating operational projects in agriculture between Iran and African countries. This official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the main goal of this meeting is to go beyond introducing Iran's existing capacities and move towards designing specific cooperation models with African countries.

Operational Projects and Iran's Competitive Advantages

The Director General of Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continued: "The models we are looking to design must be based on the real needs of the market and Iran's competitive advantages. These models should lead to executable and follow-up projects." This innovative approach reflects Iran's serious determination to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with African countries. Since the African continent is recognized as one of the growing areas with high economic potentials, Iran can take advantage of this opportunity.

The Necessity of Bilateral Cooperation

This official added: "We are looking to create bilateral cooperation in which both parties can benefit from these collaborations." The National Agriculture Meeting of Iran and Africa is an opportunity for African countries and Iran to have effective cooperation in agriculture, technology transfer, and information exchange. In fact, this meeting can serve as a communication bridge between Iran and various African countries and pave the way for joint projects in different fields.

On the other hand, the Director General of Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also referred to the existing challenges in agricultural cooperation and said: "We must pay attention to the needs and challenges of African countries and plan based on them. This can help us implement more successful projects. Additionally, we must respect the cultural and economic diversity of African countries and strive to align our collaborations with this diversity."

Finally, the Director General of Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized: "Given its experiences in agriculture and the production of various products, Iran can assist African countries in advancing their economic development. Therefore, holding this meeting can be a turning point in the relations between Iran and African countries." These statements reflect Iran's serious determination to strengthen cooperation and expand relations with African countries and can herald a bright future for these connections.
