Reports from the Ministry of Interior indicate that the population of foreign nationals in Iran has fallen to less than 5 million, and this news is quickly attracting attention. Previously, the population of foreign nationals in the country was 6.1 million, and now this decrease has raised many questions.

Reasons for the Decrease in Foreign Nationals

The head of the Foreign Nationals and Immigrants Affairs Center of the Ministry of Interior, while announcing this statistic, also referred to the factors that have led to this decrease. Some of these factors include widespread expulsions, changes in immigration laws, and new restrictions on accepting immigrants. These changes have caused a significant portion of foreign nationals to return to their home countries.

Immigrants came to Iran for various reasons, including war, poverty, and political instability. However, now with the creation of tougher conditions and changes in domestic policies, it seems that many of these individuals have been forced to leave Iran. In fact, this population decrease not only indicates the departure of immigrants but also reflects social and economic changes in Iran.

The Future of Foreign Nationals in Iran

Given this statistic, the future of foreign nationals in Iran remains uncertain. Does the government have a plan to support this group, or will this trend continue? Many analysts believe that with the continuation of these policies, it may negatively impact Iran's international relations as well.

Ultimately, the question remains whether this decrease in the population of foreign nationals will be beneficial for Iran or not? Time will answer this question, but it seems that the situation for many immigrants in Iran has become increasingly difficult.
