Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, Chief of Staff and Deputy Coordinator of the Army, emphasized the historical animosity of global arrogance towards the Islamic Republic of Iran during the twenty-fifth period of the Martyr Syad Shirazi War Doctrine held at Shahid Satari Air University. He attributed this animosity to the victory of the Islamic Revolution on February 11, 1979, stating that this feeling of hostility is deep-rooted.

Challenges of the Imposed War and the Victory of the Nation

Rear Admiral Sayyari, referring to the enemy's objectives in the imposed war, explained that the first goal of Saddam and global arrogance was to defeat the Islamic Revolution and then seize Khuzestan. He pointed out that Saddam was a puppet of global arrogance and initiated a proxy war against Iran. In this context, he mentioned the arming of Saddam by twenty-seven countries, clarifying that this support occurred at a time when the Eastern and Western blocs were competing.

He also referred to the enemy's miscalculation, which was related to a false perception of the defensive capabilities of the Iranian army. The enemy attacked us under the impression that the Iranian army was unprepared, but the army defended itself with courage and strong will. According to Rear Admiral Sayyari, the Air Force quickly responded to the attacks and surprised the enemy.

The Role of the People and Leadership in Victories

Rear Admiral Sayyari further emphasized the high morale of the Iranian people, stating that the enemy was unfamiliar with the spirit and will of our people. He referred to the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA) during the war, noting that the Imam said if the war lasts twenty years, we will stand firm.

Rear Admiral Sayyari also mentioned the twelve-day war, stating that the enemy's goal was the same as that of the eight-year war; namely, the defeat of the Islamic Republic and the disintegration of Iran. He also addressed the third war, clarifying that the enemy is still seeking to overthrow the Islamic Republic. However, this time the enemy acted with false perceptions about eliminating the leadership and provoking the people, which did not succeed.

In conclusion, he emphasized that the Iranian nation has always stood against challenges and will not surrender, mentioning that the enemy has become desperate due to its failures against Iran. Rear Admiral Sayyari urged students to pay attention to the reality that victory in the battlefield is about will and resilience, and Iran will continue to confront its enemies with strong spirit.
