An orange weather alert has been issued today for four northern provinces of the country. These predictions are particularly serious in the provinces of Mazandaran, Golestan, North Khorasan, and North Razavi Khorasan, which will face heavy rain, thunderstorms, and temporary strong winds. Experts are advising the public to be cautious in these critical conditions.
Risks and Predictions
Experts from the National Weather Organization have announced that rainfall will intensify in the coming days. In this regard, risks such as flooding, the overflow of seasonal rivers, waterlogging of streets, and disruption in transportation networks seem serious. Temporary strong winds and the possibility of old trees breaking are also among the other predicted dangers.

Alongside these warnings, predictions indicate that scattered rainfall will continue in some areas of Gilan, Mazandaran, and Golestan. In these regions, there is also a possibility of runoff and lightning, which increases concerns.
Weather Conditions in Other Regions of the Country
In other regions of the country, calm and stable weather with rising temperatures is predicted. Particularly in Tehran, temperature fluctuations will range between 18 to 27 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, on Monday, only in southern Sistan and Baluchestan, an increase in clouds and rain showers are expected.
Kobra Rafiei, an expert from the Weather Organization, has also pointed out the increase in temperature over the past week, stating that the average temperature in the country has risen by 3.3 degrees Celsius compared to the long-term average. Yazd province, with an increase of 4.4 degrees, and South Khorasan province, with an increase of 4.3 degrees, have experienced the highest temperature increases.
In these conditions, the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf will be turbulent due to increased wind speed and wave height. This situation poses risks such as drowning swimmers and damage to small boats. People on the shores should be more cautious in their activities.
Experts especially recommend that farmers take care of their crops during these days, as heavy rainfall can cause serious damage to agriculture. Additionally, individuals should avoid traveling in high-risk areas and near rivers to prevent potential dangers.
