The opening of Tehran Week at Meidan Mashq will be held with a capacity of approximately five thousand attendees. Amir Qasemi, head of the Tehran Municipality's Tourism Headquarters, has reported the necessary arrangements for this event in District 12 and stated that this event is considered an important opportunity to introduce the culture and tourist attractions of the capital.

Diverse Programs of Tehran Week

Alongside the opening, the exhibition "Tehran, City of Culture and Life" will also be showcased. This exhibition provides an opportunity for artists and culture enthusiasts to display their works and introduce the cultural attractions of Tehran. Additionally, a documentary film screening festival and a family-oriented tourism campaign will also take place during this week, aimed at attracting families to cultural and tourism activities.

Tehran Festival and Introduction of Iranian Ethnicities

The Tehran Festival, focusing on Iranian ethnicities, will also be held in District 6 and Laleh Park. This festival is recognized as an opportunity to understand and introduce the cultural diversity of Iran under the title "Tehran Festival." At this festival, guests can become acquainted with the culture, customs, and traditions of various Iranian ethnic groups and experience joyful and entertaining moments.

Amir Qasemi, while emphasizing the importance of holding such events, stated that the main goal of Tehran Week is to create social enthusiasm and promote tourism culture. He also referred to the Tehran Municipality's efforts to provide the necessary infrastructure for these events and said, "We are making the necessary arrangements to host this event and hope to provide a memorable experience for participants."

Considering that this event is being held in the year of artificial intelligence, Qasemi emphasized the need to utilize modern technologies in the tourism industry and said, "We are looking to provide an up-to-date and attractive experience for tourists and residents of Tehran using contemporary technologies."

Tehran Week, as a cultural and tourism event, can contribute to the development of domestic tourism and attract foreign tourists as well. It seems that these events can become an opportunity to redefine the cultural and social identity of Tehran and, on the other hand, help boost the region's economy.
