Mahdi Chamran, on the sidelines of the 444th session of the Tehran City Council, addressed two audit reports and said: "Today, the electronic service offices of the city, the establishment of support in Region 5 for the gardens of Kan, and the file of registered properties are on the agenda."

Uncertainty About the Election Date

Chamran referred to the topic of elections, stating: "I once requested that nothing be announced regarding the elections and their date until it is confirmed and specified. We said let the councils do their work." He added: "The spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior has also announced that there is no specific date for the elections, and this situation still persists. The determination of the election date is with the Parliament, but in special circumstances, this date will be specified. News analyses in this regard are incorrect."

Status of Construction Projects and City Cleanliness

Chamran continued by referring to construction projects and said: "The creation of a bridge in Region 5 will help with transportation and traffic, and the route in this area will be modified to avoid passing through residential areas. The oil company has requested to have a warehouse within the city for quick fuel delivery, and we will discuss urban planning with them."

He also commented on the status of city cleanliness, stating: "We are not satisfied with the cleanliness of the city and are waiting for a comprehensive and proper program in this regard. Some contractors are facing problems, and efforts are being made to resolve these issues as soon as possible." Chamran emphasized that if a contractor does not pay the workers' wages, the municipality will cover this amount.

In conclusion, Chamran referred to the situation of waste collectors and waste collection, saying: "Waste collection is carried out by the municipality, and we are following up on the status of the waste collectors. Additionally, regarding the pricing of sports facilities, a proposal has been made to make their use free, which should be included in the budget bill for the next year."

Chamran also discussed the traffic situation in Tehran following recent rains, stating: "The situation was like previous days, and we hope the rains continue to resolve water issues in the dams and air pollution."
