Today, November 3rd, coinciding with Aban 12th, the U.S. Congressional midterm elections are being held. The latest analyses and polls conducted by reputable universities and media indicate that the Republicans and Donald Trump may have to face the next two years "without having Congress." Even Trump, two days before the elections, took a stance in an interview with a major media outlet that suggests he sees himself as the loser of this election. He said: "I will be Mr. Veto for the next two years." With this statement, he told voters and Democrats that if he loses this election, he will use the veto power to advance his goals, and Congress (the House of Representatives and Senate) will not be able to stop him.

Economy and Livelihood; The Main Concern of the American People

The final results of the elections cannot be predicted at this moment, and what has been announced are analyses and predictions derived from polls published by American media. The most important issue raised in this regard is the "economy" and "livelihood" in the current social and political climate of the U.S. and European countries. Most of the polls conducted in recent weeks by the most reputable scientific and academic centers indicate that among the primary concerns of the American people are warmongering against Iran and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in the overflow of consequences on the people in the form of inflation and rampant price increases.

According to the latest report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the CPI and PPI reports indicate that living costs including heating oil, gasoline, transportation, housing insurance, rent, clothing, and food are facing unprecedented inflation. Therefore, if the Republicans lose, they will suffer a significant and historic blow from "Trump's folly," "the Strait of Hormuz," "the economy," and ultimately "Iran."

Cognitive Error in Analyzing the Political Situation

We see no difference between Democrats and Republicans in their approach to Iran except in the manner of this approach. Both are heavily influenced by Zionist lobbies, and their history is filled with crimes and genocide, especially in the horrific and bloody Vietnam War that the Democrats initiated. The prevailing economic situation in the U.S. and Europe, which has manifested itself in the form of riots and marches for weeks, is a sign of public discontent. The German Chancellor has estimated the damage caused to Europe by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz at 100 billion euros, while some, like "Linda Bilmes," a prominent economics professor at Harvard University, have estimated the damage to the U.S. at one trillion dollars.

The threat of war remains as before, and the way to avert this threat is to increase Iran's capabilities, which is rapidly advancing.

While many diplomatic delegations have come to Iran and Iran has also sent delegations to other countries, the two main issues raised in this context have been: one: Iran's concession on the nuclear issue and two: the seriousness of the threat of renewed war. The threat of war is serious, and Iran has prepared itself for it and has not ruled out this possibility for even a moment.
