Autumn snowfall in the heights of Central Zagros and Central Alborz will occur today (Tuesday) in some areas of Gilan, Mazandaran, Golestan, North Khorasan, and the northern half of Razavi Khorasan. In addition, rain showers, thunderstorms, and strong winds are forecasted in other parts of the country.

According to the analysis of the latest synoptic maps and forecasting, this weather condition will continue on Wednesday in some areas of the southeast, east, and western strip of the country. On Thursday and Friday, precipitation will intensify in the northwest, west, southwest, Caspian Sea coasts, and southern slopes of Alborz. On Saturday, rainfall will also continue in some areas of the northeast, southwest, and coastal provinces of the Caspian Sea.

Tehran, the capital of the country, will have a clear to partly cloudy sky today. In the afternoon, cloud cover will increase and winds will sometimes bring scattered showers. Today's maximum temperature in Tehran will reach 23 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature will be 15 degrees Celsius above zero.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday in the eastern strip and on Thursday in some areas of the west, south, center, and provinces located in the southern slopes of Alborz, an increase in wind speed and dust storms in some areas are predicted. Especially in the Central Zagros and Alborz regions, snowfall can lead to significant changes in weather conditions.
