He emphasized that this plan not only addresses economic and commercial cooperation but also prioritizes the development of cooperation in advanced technologies and artificial intelligence.
Development of Economic and Commercial Cooperation
Aref pointed out the importance of the Shanghai Organization in the international arena, stating that this organization can provide a suitable platform for the development of economic and commercial cooperation among member countries. He added: "Given Iran's geographical position and economic capacities, it can play a key role in strengthening this cooperation."

The First Vice President further stated that in today's world, advanced technologies and artificial intelligence are recognized as one of the main pillars of economic development. Aref highlighted the government's efforts to create the necessary infrastructure for the development of new technologies, noting that Iran has currently achieved good results in some areas of advanced technology, including ICT, pharmaceuticals, and nanotechnology.
He also referred to the importance of knowledge and experience exchange among the member countries of the Shanghai Organization, saying: "We must utilize each other's experiences in the field of new technologies to achieve sustainable growth and development."
