Abdolmahtab Mohammadkhani, the CEO of the Tehran Taxi Management and Supervision Organization, in his press conference regarding the 'Zero Inflation' plan stated that this plan is designed to support families and prevent price increases on 12 essential goods. He emphasized that the goal of this plan is to create peace for citizens in the conditions of economic warfare and sanctions.

Details of the Zero Inflation Plan

Mohammadkhani stated that this plan is particularly aimed at mothers in families and will be implemented to reduce economic pressure on them. He added: 'We want to tell the people that there will be no price increases in the coming months, and with this, we aim to bring them peace of mind.'

He also referred to the government's efforts in importing rice and other essential goods, saying: 'The government is currently pursuing rice imports extensively, and recent reports indicate that we are witnessing massive rice imports.' Mohammadkhani further added that the municipality is also taking similar actions in this regard.

Transport Development and the Need for Urban Reforms

The CEO of the Tehran Taxi Management and Supervision Organization pointed to traffic problems and the need for public transport development, stating: 'Our top priority in the coming years is the development of public transport with an emphasis on electric transport. Although we know that the traffic problem is still serious and bothersome, we hope to improve the traffic situation by purchasing 2,500 buses and metro wagons.'

Mohammadkhani also responded to a complaint from a city council member regarding the T.O.D, saying: 'This plan is recognized as a modern and scientific method in urban development and urban planning discussions and is the most effective method in many major cities around the world.'

He concluded by emphasizing the need for cooperation between the municipality and the city council to solve urban problems, stating: 'We are ready to collaborate with experts and city council members in this regard and to examine the problems more closely.'
