Marzieh Jafari, the Director General of Tax Data Science at the National Tax Administration, emphasized the importance of this action for reviewing tax information by announcing the sending of messages to citizens in the past two weeks. These messages were sent to prevent potential misuse of individuals' identity information and to verify the accuracy of the declared transaction information in their names.
Purpose of Sending Messages
Jafari explained that individuals who received these messages can visit their tax dashboard through the address provided in the message, enter the "Response to Information Subject to Article 169" section, and review the registered transactions in their name. This action follows inquiries and complaints from some individuals regarding the misuse of their identity information in declared transactions.

How to Respond to Tax Information
The Director General of Tax Data Science added: If the displayed information is confirmed by the taxpayer, no specific action is required; however, if the individual does not confirm the registered information, they must reject it through this section. Jafari emphasized that the goal of this notification is to provide timely review of information and to prevent potential problems for taxpayers, stating that in cases where the registered information is correct and confirmed by individuals, there is no need for a separate reaction or action.
These messages are somewhat indicative of the National Tax Administration's efforts to enhance transparency and public trust in taxation and to prevent misuse. In fact, these efforts can contribute to improving the economic situation and increasing citizen satisfaction, as taxation is one of the main pillars for securing financial resources for public services and national infrastructure.
Consequences and Future Outlook
Given the 82% increase in value-added tax deposits in the first six months of the year 1405, it seems that these actions can help improve the tax situation in the country. However, emphasizing transparency and close monitoring of citizens' tax information can lead to the establishment of a fairer and more efficient tax system. Especially in conditions where concerns about the misuse of identity information have significantly increased, this action can be seen as a positive step towards supporting taxpayers' rights.
