Details of the Attack and Possible Damages
Some news sources reported that two ballistic missiles hit the runway of Aden airport. Al Arabiya network also announced that two missiles struck near the runway, and the Riyadh-affiliated government’s Ministry of Information pointed out that the missiles hit areas around the airport and near the 'Badr' base. This base has been targeted multiple times by missile and drone attacks, with the last attack occurring on October 7, when a meeting of the Saudi coalition commanders was also targeted in the same manner.
This attack clearly demonstrates the continuation of clashes and tensions in Yemen, which persist despite international efforts to establish peace. These conflicts not only affect the humanitarian situation in Yemen but also exacerbate tensions in the Middle East.
While the Saudi coalition is trying to regain control of the situation, the missile attacks by the Yemeni army significantly showcase the military capabilities of these forces and their determination to continue fighting. It seems that these conflicts will not end soon, and there is a need for more serious efforts to resolve this crisis.
