Widespread rain and thunderstorms will begin on Wednesday, November 6, in parts of the southeast of the country. Analysis of global weather model forecasts indicates that these rains are expected particularly in the provinces of Sistan and Baluchestan, Kerman, and Hormozgan, especially in the southern and eastern regions.
Weather Conditions and Rainfall Forecast
According to forecast patterns, atmospheric instability and local conditions conducive to the formation of rain-bearing clouds may lead to the occurrence of showers and thunderstorms. Under these conditions, heavy and short-term rainfall may cause runoff and reduced visibility. The end time of this instability depends on the movement of the precipitation cores.

In other regions of the country, rainfall will also be influenced by a new system entering from the west on Friday, November 7. In Razavi Khorasan, South Khorasan, North Khorasan, and parts of Semnan, there is a possibility of wind and a relative drop in temperature. In these areas, the potential for local dust storms is also mentioned.
Expansion of Rainfall to Other Areas
Specifically, in the provinces of West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Ilam, Zanjan, and Ardabil, scattered rainfall and increased cloud cover are expected with the arrival of the new system. In Lorestan and Khuzestan, the likelihood of increased cloud cover, showers, and wind will also rise.
In the provinces of Gilan, Mazandaran, and Golestan, scattered rainfall is predicted, and as the new system approaches, there is a possibility of intensified rainfall along the Caspian Sea coast. In Tehran, Alborz, Qazvin, Qom, Markazi, Isfahan, and Hamadan, the sky will be clear to partly cloudy at times, with occasional winds.
From Friday, with the expansion of the western system, the likelihood of increased cloud cover and scattered rainfall, especially in the highlands, will increase. In the cold mountainous regions of Alborz and Zagros, there is also a possibility of snowfall if the temperature conditions are suitable.
In the provinces of Fars, Bushehr, and Yazd, widespread rainfall has not been confirmed for Wednesday, and weather changes are more dependent on local conditions. The activity of the new system is expected to begin on Friday and continue on Saturday, November 8, in parts of the west, northwest, southwest, and southern slopes of Alborz.
The exact timing of the system's exit and the amount of rainfall in each province depends on the latest outputs from weather models. Therefore, residents of these areas are advised to pay attention to the latest news and forecasts regarding the weather.
