Vahid Ahmadi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, provided explanations in response to recent statements by Donald Trump regarding the possibility of renewed attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities.

Halt of Cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency

Ahmadi stated in this conversation that according to the regulations of the International Atomic Energy Agency, all nuclear centers of countries that have accepted the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) must be protected. He added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has been a member of the NPT since before the revolution and has fulfilled all its commitments, but our nuclear facilities were attacked during the 12-day war, and several of our nuclear scientists were martyred."

Conditions for Resuming Inspections

Ahmadi continued: "The Islamic Consultative Assembly and the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission have proposed a plan based on the current laws and regulations of the International Atomic Energy Agency, based on which Iran's cooperation with the Agency has been halted." He clarified that this halt includes inspections and other collaborations and will continue until the security of Iran's nuclear facilities and nuclear scientists is ensured.

He emphasized that the resumption of inspections will only be possible when the International Atomic Energy Agency announces that the necessary conditions for ensuring the security of Iran's nuclear facilities have been met and the Supreme National Security Council confirms this matter.

In response to Trump's threats of renewed attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities, Ahmadi said: "Trump talks a lot, and many of his statements are not credible. The Islamic Republic of Iran is fully prepared, and they themselves know Iran's power."

This parliament representative also referred to the awarding of medals to pilots who participated in attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities, stating: "The awarding of medals to these individuals is not of much importance, and what matters is the performance of the Islamic Republic of Iran in response to attacks."

Ahmadi concluded by referring to recent statements from CENTCOM regarding 5,000 flights during the conflicts, emphasizing that this indicates the Islamic Republic of Iran has not faced just one or two countries in this war, but has been involved with a collection of countries in this conflict.
