The Civil Aviation Organization has announced the temporary suspension of ticket sales for flights to Najaf Ashraf starting this morning due to the halt of flights. This decision has been communicated to the airlines, which are required to comply. The suspension of flights has been implemented due to specific conditions that require careful attention and planning.
Facilities for passengers have been arranged
Following this suspension, airlines are required to fully refund the amounts of suspended flight tickets to passengers without any penalty deductions. This action is aimed at protecting passengers' rights and facilitating the return of their funds. Additionally, considering that some passengers are currently at the airports of both countries, airlines have been requested to plan and conduct domestic flights to the border airports of Iran and vice versa.

Advice to passengers to avoid problems
The Civil Aviation Organization has advised passengers intending to travel to Iraq, especially Najaf Ashraf, to refrain from purchasing tickets for this route until further notice. This recommendation is made to prevent potential problems and further dissatisfaction among passengers under the current circumstances. It seems that, given the existing conditions, travel to Iraq should currently be postponed until the situation returns to normal.
Necessary permits for domestic flights to transport passengers will be issued soon, and the necessary arrangements for allocating airport slots will also be made. These measures are aimed at reducing pressure on passengers and assisting them in returning home or continuing their journey. These actions are undertaken to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers and demonstrate the Civil Aviation Organization's commitment to its social responsibilities.
Currently, the status of flights and related planning is under close supervision, and the Civil Aviation Organization is continuously reviewing and assessing the situation. As soon as the situation returns to normal, new information will be provided to passengers.
