Tehran's Nature Bridge will illuminate in blue tonight, November 2nd, in celebration of United Nations Day. This color change is intended to commemorate the anniversary of the establishment of this international organization and to remind us of the message of peace, solidarity, and cooperation among nations.
Message of Peace and Solidarity on United Nations Day
October 24th marks the anniversary of the official establishment of the United Nations in 1945. This day is an opportunity to recall the goals and ideals of this organization in terms of maintaining international peace and security, supporting human rights, promoting cooperation among countries, and striving for peaceful resolution of conflicts. On this day, nations reflect on their fundamental values and emphasize the importance of dialogue and collaboration.
Blue Color; Symbol of Peace and Unity
The color blue, recognized as the color of the United Nations, holds a special place in the visual identity of the organization. This color symbolizes peace, contrasting with red, which represents war. The United Nations flag, featuring a blue background and a white emblem including a world map and olive branches, serves as a reminder of the ideals of peace and unity among nations. The blue lighting of the Nature Bridge, as one of the prominent symbols of tourism and urban architecture in Tehran, provides an opportunity to align with the global message of peace and solidarity.
Moreover, this action highlights the importance of solidarity and unity among nations in the face of global challenges. The Nature Bridge, which hosts thousands of citizens and tourists daily, transforms into a symbol of peace and cooperation on a global scale with this lighting. This event encourages everyone to pay more attention to the importance of peace and peaceful coexistence and to take steps towards promoting these values.
In recent years, the significance of the United Nations and its activities on the global stage has been felt more than ever. Given the increasing challenges the world faces, including climate change, wars, and humanitarian crises, the need for cooperation among countries and efforts to establish peace and security is more pressing than ever. The Nature Bridge, with its blue lighting, sends a message of hope and unity to the world, emphasizing that peace and solidarity are the only sustainable solutions to global problems.
