The blacklist of 214 individuals who have been active in suspicious transactions in the currency and gold market has recently been announced. This action has been carried out under the supervision and cooperation of the Central Bank and in line with the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism. The aim of this action is to continuously monitor high-risk financial behaviors in the banking network and to maintain the economic order of the country.

Details of the Blacklist and Suspicious Activities

Investigations show that all 214 individuals have been active in unofficial currency and gold markets and have exacerbated disruptions in the economic system by conducting suspicious transactions. These individuals have recently been added to the list of persons suspected of money laundering, and the process of addressing these transactions has significantly accelerated. Last week, 57 individuals were added, and in the recent action, 45 individuals were added to this list.

Financial Restrictions for Suspected Individuals

The Deputy Minister of Economy and Head of the Financial Information Center has issued a directive to all banks and financial institutions, instructing them to immediately refrain from providing any "basic services" to individuals on this list. These restrictions will include blocking access to modern banking services and limiting payment tools for these individuals, and will continue until further notice.

These measures are designed to prevent money laundering and to stop the influx of proceeds from criminal activities into the formal economy and disrupt the monetary system. Given the increasing number of individuals on this list, it can be said that the Financial Information Center is seriously monitoring suspicious financial activities.

Overall, these actions demonstrate the serious determination of officials to combat financial crimes and maintain the economic health of the country. This issue can also help increase public trust in the financial and banking system and pave the way for creating a healthier economic environment.
