Tehran Municipality has aimed to ease the daily lives of people during these difficult times by providing free public transportation services. Hojjatoleslam Alireza Salimi, the representative of the people of Tehran in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, praised the municipality's performance during this period, especially in the areas of temporary housing and transportation.

Salimi pointed to the recent wars and their impact on people's lives, stating: "The reality is that Tehran Municipality has truly shone during both the 40-day and 12-day wars. Various parts of Tehran were attacked by the enemy, but the image of war-torn Tehran was never seen. This reflects the efforts of Tehran Municipality."

He added: "Tehran Municipality stood alone and provided services to the people. Another positive action by the municipality was free transportation in Tehran. This was a significant achievement by the municipality that brought satisfaction to the citizens."

The representative of the people of Tehran in the Islamic Consultative Assembly emphasized the reconstruction of residential homes damaged in the war and other actions of the municipality, stating: "There are hundreds of other items in the positive record of Tehran Municipality. Establishing local markets to provide essential goods at reasonable prices is another positive action by the municipality. Despite the decrease in the municipality's revenues, we see that it continues its construction projects."
Salimi also referred to political criticisms regarding the municipality's performance and emphasized that these attacks should not be raised at this time, saying: "The performance of the municipality is completely clear, and the people are aware of it." Nevertheless, the parliament member appreciated Tehran Municipality's efforts to improve citizens' living conditions and hopes that this trend will continue.
