As the new school year approaches, Tehran Municipality announced that special measures have been taken to organize school transportation services. These actions are specifically designed for special needs students who currently require more support.

Support for Special Needs Students

According to the municipality's announcement, the transportation costs for 5,000 special needs students will be fully covered. This decision has been made to support families and facilitate these students' access to schools. Officials stated that this action, especially in the current situation where living costs have risen, can alleviate the financial burden on families.

Increase in School Transportation Rates

The rate for school transportation has also increased by 50 percent compared to last year, which has raised concerns among families. However, Tehran Municipality has stated that this rate increase is due to the need for improved service quality and rising costs of providing transportation. Officials hope that with this increase, the quality of services provided to students will improve, allowing families to send their children to school with greater confidence.

At the same time, Tehran Municipality has announced that it will make every effort to reduce the financial burden on families and is seeking solutions to facilitate access to educational services. These actions will include increased oversight of the services provided and improvements in the transportation conditions for students.

Given the sensitivity of the issue and the need to support students, it seems that these decisions could have a positive impact on the educational process in the new school year. Additionally, Tehran Municipality has stated that it is working to create better conditions for students and their families in collaboration with educational and social institutions.
