Safety recommendations for citizens
Citizens are advised to avoid stopping and settling next to rivers and streams and to exercise caution during intercity travels. Additionally, mountain climbing and nature tourism activities, as well as agricultural activities such as spraying and pest control in orchards, should be postponed. It is also essential to transfer agricultural products to safe locations.
Goudarzi added that the rainfall in these areas will continue with varying intensity until the end of the week, and there will also be temporary strong winds with dust storms in the northwest, west, center, and south of the country. This situation may lead to a decrease in air quality.
Sea conditions and temperature fluctuations
The Caspian Sea and the Strait of Hormuz are currently rough and turbulent. Increased wind speed and wave height in the coastal areas of Gilan, Mazandaran, and Golestan in the Caspian Sea and in Hormozgan in the Strait of Hormuz have led to a yellow marine warning. The risks of this situation include the possibility of drowning swimmers, damage to small boats, and disruption of vessel traffic.
In Tehran, the temperature fluctuations today will be between 19 and 30 degrees Celsius, with a maximum temperature reaching 29 degrees. Additionally, the average temperature in the country over the past week has increased by 2.9 degrees Celsius compared to the long-term period. The temperature increase in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari has reached 3.6 degrees and in Mazandaran to 3.5 degrees.
