Abbas Shabani, the Technical and Civil Deputy of the Mayor of Tehran, along with Majid Amani, the CEO of the Engineering and Construction Organization of Tehran Municipality, visited the reinforcement and seismic improvement projects of the overpasses, Niayesh parking, and the beach soccer house. This visit was conducted to review the status of physical progress and the execution operations of these projects.
Bridge Reinforcement Programs in Tehran
Majid Amani presented a report on the bridge reinforcement projects during this visit. He referred to the bridge at the intersection of Sheikh Fazlollah Nouri Highway and Jalal Al-Ahmad (Azmayesh), which is focused on deck repair, seismic improvement, and increasing structural safety. In the reinforcement operations of the overpass at the Imam Khomeini (RA) intersection, due to the presence of active commercial centers beneath the bridge, the possibility of carrying out operations is limited to only 30% of the base. Amani emphasized the necessity of serious follow-ups to deliver other axes.

Visit to Niayesh Multi-Storey Parking and Football Academy
During this visit, Abbas Shabani also visited the Niayesh multi-storey parking project and emphasized the need to strengthen execution teams and expedite the operation of the parking facility. Additionally, city managers, while present at the Football Academy, observed the construction activities of this complex and reviewed details related to the execution stages and progress of the project.
The Engineering and Construction Organization of Tehran Municipality is undertaking extensive construction activities in the city of Tehran in the form of development projects in the field of infrastructure, including multi-storey parking, administrative and service buildings, cultural and sports facilities, and crisis management bases. This organization is also executing maintenance and reinforcement projects for overpasses and the modernization of mechanized pedestrian bridges.
