Ali Zeyni Vand, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, responded to journalists' questions about criticism of the government and the structures of the system during a press conference, noting that criticizing the government and governmental institutions is a fundamental right for groups.
Right to Criticism
Zeyni Vand emphasized in this meeting: "What is the problem with a group coming to criticize the government or even criticize the structures of the system?" These remarks come at a time when some political groups feel that they are being discriminated against by the government. According to him, these groups are seeking to gather and express their opinions on major national issues, but they face legal obstacles.

Concerns about Social Cohesion
Zeyni Vand also referred to his concerns about the lack of a law regulating gatherings, adding: "We really have no answer for the protests of these groups." He explained that the absence of a legal framework could lead to conflicts and social tensions between groups and disrupt social cohesion. This issue indicates that the need for legislation in this area is serious.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Interior emphasized that if there are signs of dissatisfaction and criticism, it must be addressed, and the government should help improve the situation by accepting criticisms. He also pointed to the role of the media in this regard, stating: "The media should act as a bridge between the government and the people and convey the voice of criticisms to the authorities."
Lack of Structure and Its Consequences
Zeyni Vand further pointed out that the lack of a clear structure for criticism and gatherings leads to more tensions. He said: "Since we have not defined a structure, social conflicts arise, and this benefits no one." According to him, political groups should have the opportunity to express their opinions and criticisms so that they can participate in the country's decision-making processes.
These remarks by Zeyni Vand come at a time when Iranian society is currently facing numerous challenges, including economic, social, and political issues, and the need for constructive and critical dialogue is felt more than ever. It seems that the Ministry of Interior must soon take action to draft a law regulating gatherings to move the political atmosphere of the country towards calm and cohesion.
