Amir Hossein Naghashineh, an expert from the National Weather Organization, announced the arrival of a new precipitation system in the country. This system will bring rain along with thunderstorms and temporary strong winds to the provinces of West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Kurdistan, and Kermanshah starting today.
Forecast of Rainfall and Its Hazards
Naghashineh stated: "In addition to these provinces, rainfall is also expected in other regions including Ilam, Khuzestan, Lorestan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, northern Fars, Isfahan, Zanjan, Qazvin, Alborz, Tehran, Hamadan, Markazi, Qom, Gilan, Mazandaran, and western Golestan." He added that scattered showers are also expected on Friday in Golestan, North Khorasan, and northern Razavi Khorasan.

In the next three days, in the afternoon and early evening hours, the development of convective clouds in some areas of Kerman, Hormozgan, southern Fars, and Sistan and Baluchestan will cause rain showers, thunderstorms, and temporary strong winds. This situation will lead to the issuance of orange warnings in several provinces.
Weather Warnings and Atmospheric Conditions
An orange warning level indicates the presence of dangerous weather conditions. The hazards of this warning include flooding, overflowing seasonal rivers, waterlogging of roads, disruption in transportation networks, and slippery roadways. There is also a possibility of old and weakened trees breaking and damage to temporary structures and agricultural products.
Naghashineh also referred to the yellow warning level, which has been issued due to the high likelihood of river water rising, runoff, and lightning in some provinces. This warning includes the provinces of West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Khuzestan, Zanjan, Qazvin, Kurdistan, Lorestan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Gilan, Mazandaran, Markazi, Hamadan, and the western half of Isfahan.
In Tehran, it is also expected that cloud cover will increase and occasional scattered rain will occur early in the evening. There is a possibility of thunderstorms in Tehran on Friday and Saturday. Temperature fluctuations in Tehran will be between 14 and 20 degrees, and the temperature has decreased by 2 degrees compared to yesterday.
