- Garlic: 2 cloves

How to Prepare Orange Soup
To start, chop one of the onions and sauté it in a pot with a little oil. Add the pieces of chicken breast and after the chicken changes color, add salt, pepper, and turmeric. Then add 2 to 3 cups of boiling water to the pot, cover it, and let the chicken cook completely. After cooking, remove the chicken and shred it or puree it completely using a food processor. Save the chicken broth for later steps.
Grate or puree the second onion. In the pot where you plan to do the final cooking, melt the butter and sauté the pureed onions until they become soft. Then add the crushed garlic and sauté for about a minute to release its aroma.
Add the flour to the onion and garlic mixture and stir constantly until the raw smell of the flour is gone and its color changes slightly. This will give your soup a creamy texture and thickness. Then puree the tomatoes and add them to the pot. Allow the tomato puree to sauté a bit until its color brightens and its raw taste is eliminated.
Add the pureed chicken and the remaining chicken broth to the pot. Stir the ingredients and let the soup start to thicken over low heat. In the final step, add the fresh orange juice to the soup. At this time, taste the mixture and if necessary, add a little sugar and salt to balance the flavors.
To make your soup look restaurant-quality and velvety, you can blend the entire soup in a mixer after cooking all the ingredients. For serving, use chopped parsley or thin slices of orange to enhance its visual appeal.
