Novin, the veteran representative of Tabriz in the Parliament, discussed the status of road construction, rail transport, water transfer, Tabriz power plant, and healthcare centers in East Azerbaijan in a detailed interview. He emphasized that wartime conditions should not be an excuse for delays in executing these projects, and managers must take their responsibilities seriously.

Need for Quick Decision-Making

Novin identified one of the fundamental problems of the country as the gap between decision-making and execution, adding: "In many cases, laws and programs are formulated, but when it comes to implementation, we face administrative obstacles, resource shortages, and lack of coordination among agencies." According to him, there are numerous projects in East Azerbaijan that have been waiting for completion for years, and some of them are crucial for the province's economic development.

He also referred to jihadist management and stated that managers should feel responsible for the problems and take action to resolve issues as quickly as possible. Novin said: "A manager must have decision-making power and a spirit of service and should not expect all conditions to be ideal."

Necessity of Oversight and Accountability

This parliament representative highlighted the importance of budget and development programs, calling for specific indicators to evaluate the government's performance. He added: "The Parliament must ensure that reforms and changes do not undermine the principle of accountability, and the government must take approved programs seriously."

Novin emphasized that in the current conditions of the country, oversight and control over the currency market and essential goods must be pursued seriously. He noted: "The government must prevent public concerns from becoming a tool for artificially raising prices through transparent communication and effective oversight."

He also pointed out the importance of managing the currency market, stating: "The authority of floating currency management should not mean abandoning the market. The goal should be to prevent destructive fluctuations." Novin stressed that a distinction must be made between the real consequences of war and the problems arising from poor management, saying: "War cannot be an excuse to justify all economic problems."

In conclusion, he added: "Precise and accountable management is more necessary than ever in the current difficult conditions, and the government must have a clear and assessable plan to control inflation and provide essential goods."
