Narges Madani-Pour, Chair of the Cultural and Social Commission of the Islamic Council of Tehran, in the 435th public session of this council, commemorated the martyrs of security and the week of law enforcement, and elaborated on the urban management approaches to enhance social resilience.
Motherhood Plan; Support for Mothers and Newborns
Madani-Pour referred to the resolutions of the sixth council to counter war-like conditions, considering the establishment of "six task forces," including the zero inflation and livelihood task force, as a step towards creating psychological security for citizens. She also introduced the motherhood plan, designed to provide special support for mothers and newborns in Tehran (born in the year 1405) as one of the strategic programs of urban management.

Details of the Plan and Support Services
Madani-Pour explained the dimensions and features of this plan, which is service-oriented, stating: "This program, with a comprehensive view of the role and status of mothers in the family, provides support for Tehran's newborns until the age of two." She added that in this plan, support packages are given to mothers with new children, utilizing various municipal capacities such as Shahrvand stores, fruit and vegetable markets, the Healthy City Company, and cultural, artistic, and social centers to offer extensive services.
An important aspect of this program is its justice-oriented approach, which prioritizes mothers from income brackets one to three in the health sector. Additionally, by creating continuous coordination and collaboration with relevant agencies, including the Civil Registration Organization, a platform has been established so that this plan can help increase family resilience in current conditions while playing a key role in promoting the culture of childbearing and strengthening family foundations.
Madani-Pour concluded by appreciating the Mayor of Tehran for designing and implementing this program, emphasizing that urban management is fully committed to alleviating citizens' suffering and strengthening support indicators.
