The Role of Elites in the Future of Iran
The Supreme Leader, in this message read at the ceremony honoring scientific and sports medalists, considered the key to "strengthening Iran" to be in the "scientific breakthroughs of the elites" and stated that officials must provide the necessary infrastructure and grounds for this scientific leap. He pointed out that elites should maximize the use of individual capacities and collective wisdom, noting: "Our dear Iran at this moment is more a symbol of will and hope, and the role of talented elites and youth in this hope and progress is unparalleled."
Honoring the Pride Bearers
In continuation of this message, the Supreme Leader honored the elites and pride bearers in scientific and sports fields and congratulated the people of the country on the acquisition of numerous medals and awards in various Olympiads. He also introduced figures such as "Rizali Khajavi" and "Ali Lendi," who have had a profound impact on the fate of Islamic Iran through their self-sacrifice and health.
The Supreme Leader regarded elitism as a divine blessing and emphasized the necessity of gratitude for this blessing. He noted that an elite should focus on the growth of their talents and solving the country's issues and use this talent for their own growth and that of society.
His Excellency Khamenei, at the end of his message, advised the youth and elites to turn their knowledge and education into tools for solving the real issues of the people and the country and to seek practical applications of science in various fields, including agriculture, medicine, and industry.
