Dr. Mohammad Marandi, a political analyst and professor at the University of Tehran, recently discussed the current situation in Iran and security challenges. He stated that the Americans have crossed all red lines and are not adhering to any agreements. In such circumstances, Iran is also compelled to carry out its attacks more broadly and intensely.
Iran's decisive response to potential attacks
Marandi emphasized that Iran is not the initiator of the war and is not seeking to escalate tensions, saying: "If Iran's vital infrastructure is attacked, Iran's response to these attacks will lead to the end of the presence of several countries in this war." He clarified that these regimes are part of the war against Iran, and Iran will not relinquish its rights against these aggressions.

The military weakness of Arab countries and Western support
This political analyst also pointed to the military weakness of Arab countries, stating: "Arab countries do not have strong air defenses and the necessary capabilities. Their strength has significantly diminished." He cited the war between Saudi Arabia and Yemen as an example of this weakness and emphasized that the U.S. pays less attention to these countries and gives more importance to the Israeli regime.
Marandi stressed that Iran has the right to respond to any threats, saying: "We are in a situation where any attack on Iran's vital infrastructure could lead to serious consequences for the attacking countries." He also emphasized that Iran is never seeking war, but in the event of such attacks, it must defend itself.
Future outlook and its consequences
This political analyst believes that if this situation continues, the security situation in the region will become extremely critical. He is of the opinion that if Arab countries continue their aggressive policies, they should expect Iran's decisive reactions. According to him, this situation will not only affect Iran's security but will also have serious repercussions for the entire region.
Finally, Dr. Marandi emphasized that in such conditions, diplomacy and political dialogue should also be prioritized to prevent further tensions. He said: "We must move towards diplomatic solutions and avoid war and conflict, but at the same time, we are ready to defend our rights."
