Nurses; Angels of Mercy
The Supreme Leader emphasized that the birthday of Zainab al-Kubra is recognized as Nurse Day, highlighting the moral and human qualities of nurses. He introduced nurses as angels of mercy who bring comfort and hope in the face of the pain and suffering of patients. The role of nurses in treating patients goes beyond physical matters and extends to healing psychological and spiritual pains.
In an era where global arrogance seeks to impose suffering on the Iranian nation, attention to nurses and the preservation and enhancement of their knowledge and skills is of special importance. The Leader called on officials to pay more attention to this hardworking group and to prioritize this matter.
At the end of the message, he prayed for the innocent and self-sacrificing martyrs of the nursing community, especially the martyrs in the imposed wars, and asked the Almighty God to grant the Iranian nation more dignity and power.
