Hossein Maqami, the sports manager of Foolad Hormozgan Club, stated this morning at the press conference introducing the head coach of the football team, while categorizing sports into three categories: public, competitive, and professional, said: "Certainly, anyone who works in professional sports seeks to choose the best."
Utilizing the province's capacities
Maqami continued: "Our priority is to first utilize the capacities of the province so that we can use the sports budgets allocated by Foolad Hormozgan in line with nurturing the province's potentials. Although if we feel that we need to benefit from knowledge outside the province, we will definitely do so."

He also referred to last year's efforts and said: "Last year, big names were brought into Foolad Hormozgan football, which unfortunately did not have positive outcomes. My perspective is that actions must be justified technically and economically."
Ethical values and financial transparency
The sports manager of Foolad Hormozgan emphasized the principles of ethics, honesty in speech and action, and financial transparency, adding: "I hope that by the time my mission in this organization is over, I will have fully implemented these three principles and not be ashamed in front of the people of Hormozgan."
Maqami also noted regarding the sustainability of the Foolad Hormozgan football team: "The showcase of any club is football, and people expect more from us in this regard. This year, due to last year's problems, our adult second division team was supposed to end its activities, but due to public demand and the assessments made, it was decided that this team would remain."
He also referred to the challenges regarding the contract of Fajr Hall with the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of the province and said: "They demanded an amount from us without any convincing reason that we could not afford to pay. Therefore, we went to Arvand Complex, and from now on, our training and competitions will be held in this hall."
Maqami added: "Many tried to prevent the Arvand hall from being approved by the federation, but we thank God that this happened, and we were able to conclude a long-term contract."
The CEO of Foolad Hormozgan Club noted regarding the selection of the technical staff and players of this football team: "I have given Mr. Pour-Sabzali full authority to use the allocated budget as he sees fit. The important thing is the output of the work and that we can make a positive impact for the people of Hormozgan province."
