Life Changes in Exile
Life abroad for Martik and his colleagues has been accompanied by many challenges. Over the years, they have tried to continue their artistic activities while preserving their cultural identity. Martik points out that although they have achieved many successes abroad, nothing can replace their homeland. He nostalgically recalls the days when he lived alongside his family and friends in Iran and wishes he could return to those days.
This veteran singer also notes that receiving an Iranian passport symbolizes hope for his return. He says: "I have obtained my passport, but I have not yet returned to Iran. There are various reasons that prevent my return, but I always have the desire to go back to my homeland in my heart."
At the end of this conversation, Martik expresses hope for the future and urges the Islamic Republic of Iran to open its doors to artists and allow them to return to their homeland freely. He hopes to one day hear news of his return to Iran and, in this way, gives his compatriots hope that nothing can take away the love for their homeland from people's hearts.
