Independence will face Tractor on Thursday, and this match in the eighth week of the Iranian Premier League has become one of the most exciting and tense games of the season. Asghar Hajiloo, a veteran of football, says about this clash: “The battle of these two old and rooted teams has always been attractive, watchable, and well-attended, and the fans of both teams are eagerly waiting to see what result their beloved team will achieve against the opponent.”
Pressure from Fans and the Need for Victory
This game will be held in Tabriz, and the passionate fans of Tractor will put a lot of pressure on Independence with their support. Hajiloo emphasizes that Independence must be cautious of the atmosphere in the stadium and the pressure from the fans. He continues: “Both teams know that a draw will not solve their problems. Therefore, they will fight to secure the three points of the game, as losing these three points will jeopardize their position in the table.”

Challenges of Sohrab Bakhtiari Zadeh
Sohrab Bakhtiari Zadeh, the head coach of Independence, is leading the team under difficult circumstances. He has been appointed as the head coach of the blue-clad team twice in the past couple of years under the toughest conditions and has achieved good results. However, he recently took over the team's management at a time when the transfer window was closed, and due to the loss of several key players, he faced difficulties.
Bakhtiari Zadeh works calmly and without controversy, and one of the reasons for his success is his focus on the team's success and good communication with the players. Hajiloo points to the good performance of Independence's defenders and says: “Unlike last season, this year Independence has established a good defensive structure. The defenders have reached mental maturity, mutual understanding, and complete coordination.”
Tractor as a Title Contender
Tractor, led by Javad Nekounam, is currently one of the title contenders and has quality players who can cause trouble for any team. Hajiloo emphasizes: “Tractor is a respectable team, and we should witness an unequal battle.”
This football veteran also refers to the confrontation of the two Independence coaches and says: “Nekounam and Bakhtiari Zadeh were two well-known players of Independence in previous years, and now today they must face each other in coaching attire. This match is a chess game for both of them, and whoever uses their pieces better will checkmate the opponent.”
Hajiloo concludes by noting that Independence can win this crucial battle if they effectively implement the points the head coach reminds them of on the field and make the most of the opportunities and situations they create.
