The rate of the US dollar on the first day of this week reached the threshold of 166,376 tomans, indicating the continuation of the upward trend in prices in the currency market. This price increase, along with the rise of other currencies, reflects effective demand in the remittance and cash sectors, which is evident in the current market conditions.
Upward Trend of Currency Prices
On Saturday, September 28, the US dollar was sold at a price higher than previous days. This high-demand currency has achieved a growth of 497 tomans compared to last week when it was traded in the range of 165,879 tomans. On the buying side, the dollar rate reached 164,879 tomans, indicating a greater balance between supply and demand in this market.

Impact of Dollar Price Increase on Other Currencies
The increase in the dollar rate has also affected the euro, causing a jump of 668 tomans to a rate of 190,726 tomans. The UAE dirham also increased by 134 tomans, reaching 45,303 tomans, and the Chinese yuan rose by 50 tomans to 24,812 tomans. This positive trend in currency transactions indicates a favorable state of the currency market in recent days.
However, the South Korean won faced a reverse fluctuation, with its rate decreasing to 119,821 tomans, showing a decline of 1,439 tomans compared to the previous period. Additionally, currencies like the Russian ruble and Indian rupee recorded slight positive changes, reaching 1,976 and 1,733 tomans, respectively.
Overall, these changes in currency rates at the beginning of the week indicate an upward trend in currency transactions, and it seems that this trend will continue.
