Traffic Reduction and Improved Travel Conditions
This plan not only helps facilitate travel but is also aligned with reducing the traffic burden in Tehran. Karimi emphasized that the main goal of creating this route is to prevent private vehicles from entering the capital from the counties and to improve traffic conditions on the roads leading to Tehran. Passengers on the first journey of this train expressed their satisfaction with the ease of their travel, with many noting that in the past they had to first go to Tehran and then board a train. This change allows them to plan their trips more easily and set aside previous concerns.
Residents of Varamin and its affiliated areas hope that with the establishment of this new rail route, there will be a significant reduction in the number of private vehicles on the roads leading to Tehran. This will ultimately lead to improved traffic conditions and reduced travel costs.
