The Iran Currency and Gold Exchange Center will hold a gold bar auction tomorrow, Tuesday, October 7. This meeting aims to respond to the needs of gold market participants and provide suitable conditions for purchasing gold bars. Asghar Balsini, the organizer of this auction, has announced that applicants have until midnight tonight, Monday, October 6, to deposit 50 billion rials (equivalent to 5 billion tomans) as a guarantee for each bar.
Conditions for Participating in the Gold Bar Auction
Balsini emphasized that in addition to current applicants, gold platforms can also participate in this auction. Thus, more opportunities are provided for market participants to benefit from this auction. Buyers are allowed to purchase a maximum of 25 gold bars within a calendar week, and the auction fee for each party in the transaction is set at 20 million rials (a total of 40 million rials from each transaction).

How the Auction Will Be Held and the Base Price
It is worth mentioning that the base price for each gold bar will be announced by the seller on the auction day. In this auction, transactions will be conducted in person and in cash, allowing buyers to purchase gold bars with greater accuracy. This method not only facilitates the purchasing process but also contributes to transparency and trust in the gold market.
The gold bar auction at the Iran Currency and Gold Exchange Center is considered an important opportunity for those looking to invest in this field. Given the fluctuations in the gold and currency markets, this auction can be seen as an effective solution for managing capital and taking advantage of opportunities. Therefore, buyers should approach this auction with care and planning to make the best use of the opportunities available.
