Hassan Qashqavi, spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, emphasized the importance of Iran's action in placing the British Navy and Air Force on the list of terrorist organizations, considering it a response to England's hostile decisions.

Reaction to England's Decisions

Qashqavi stated that this action follows a decision made by the British government a few months ago, which is now being implemented, saying: "According to international law, any country that carries out a terrorist act against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps will naturally face a reciprocal action from Iran. Therefore, the military actions of that country will also be subject to our reciprocal response."

Emphasis on Legal Principles

He continued: "The action of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been taken within this framework and is a response to the continuation of England's hostile actions, especially in recent months; actions such as issuing anti-Iranian resolutions and declaring the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization." Qashqavi referred to recent developments as a practical realization of the martyr leader of the revolution's statement that "the era of bullying is over," and said: "This action is precisely in line with the reciprocal action that the Westerners speak of."

He emphasized that for every action they take, we will also take a reciprocal action, adding: "Of course, determining the level and type of this action is the responsibility of our responsible forces. Therefore, the meaning of reciprocal action is exactly this; that is, a proportional response will be given to every action they take."

Legal and Legal Foundations of Actions

The representative of the people of Robat Karim in the Islamic Consultative Assembly clarified: "The actions of the Islamic Republic of Iran are based on legal and lawful foundations, and what we do is carried out based on the principles of international law, international relations, Quranic rules, and the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran." Qashqavi, referring to the Quranic foundations of reciprocal action, stated: "These actions are in line with the implementation of the noble verse of the Holy Quran that says: 'So if anyone transgresses against you, then transgress against him in a similar manner as he has transgressed against you.' This verse emphasizes countering enmity and aggression to the same extent and proportionate to the action taken by the enemy."

In conclusion, Qashqavi emphasized the necessity of a proportional response to every hostile action and clearly indicated that the Islamic Republic of Iran will never remain silent in the face of threats while defending itself and its national interests.
