Hadi Kashaf, CEO of Fara Company, today provided new details about the electronic voucher settlement process, noting that all claims from retail stores have been fully settled by September 7. This announcement follows concerns raised due to recent delays in budget disbursement by the Central Bank.
Challenges in Settling Store Claims
Kashaf stated: "In the months of Khordad and Tir, due to the untimely allocation of budget, city stores faced difficulties in receiving their claims. This issue caused concerns among sellers who were unaware of the technical reasons for these delays." He also emphasized that necessary agreements have been made with the Central Bank, and from July onwards, the budget allocation process has begun regularly.

Regular and Transparent Settlements
The CEO of Fara Company continued: "This payment cycle will continue regularly and weekly. Specifically, subsequent disbursements were made on Saturday by September 10 and will continue from the 12th to ensure there are no interruptions in the provision of voucher services."
He also referred to some claims made by sellers regarding non-receipt of payments, stating: "Our investigations show that many of these claims stem from discrepancies in calculations or statistical misunderstandings." For example, in examining one store that claimed non-receipt of 11 billion tomans, it was found that 47 billion tomans had been deposited into their account since the beginning of the year, and only a small portion of the debts from the end of Esfand remained, which has been settled.
Kashaf clarified: "The accounting and financial flow systems are transparent, and stores can refer to detailed information to know the exact status of their deposits. In most ambiguous cases, the issue has been resolved by providing a performance report of the system."
He continued: "I firmly state that in over 99 percent of cases, claims of non-payment are refuted by thorough accounting review."
Kashaf emphasized that there are no overdue debts to retail stores, reminding that: "Only in cases where there are deficiencies in banking information or account blockages might there be issues. However, in general, the settlement process is continuously and regularly conducted on a weekly basis."
