A horrific collision between a Shahin vehicle and a Peugeot Pars at kilometer 10 on the Chatrud-Kerman road claimed the lives of 7 people and severely injured 2 others. This incident occurred at 19:28 on Friday, November 6, and the report was immediately sent to the control and coordination center of the Red Crescent Society of Kerman province.
Rapid Response of Rescuers at the Scene
After receiving the report, an operational team from the Chatrud rescue base was dispatched to the scene of the accident. Reza Fallah, the CEO of the Red Crescent Society of Kerman province, stated: "After the rescue team arrived at the scene and conducted an initial assessment, it was determined that 7 people had lost their lives in this incident and 2 others were injured." Rescue forces worked hard to free the bodies of 5 victims and one injured person from the vehicles.

Human Casualties and Condition of the Injured
Gholamreza Khademipour, head of pre-hospital emergency and disaster management at Kerman University of Medical Sciences, referred to the casualties of this accident and said: "Unfortunately, in this incident, 7 people including 5 men and 2 women aged approximately 16 to 60 years lost their lives due to the severity of their injuries." Additionally, 2 other occupants of the vehicles, both women aged around 47 and 60, were injured in this collision.
Khademipour commented on the condition of the injured: "After conducting the rescue operation and providing specialized pre-hospital care, the injured were transferred to Shahid Bahonar Educational and Treatment Center in Kerman using 2 ambulances. Unfortunately, the condition of one of the injured has been reported as critical." This incident highlights the necessity of adhering to traffic laws and exercising more caution on transportation routes.
The severity of this collision was such that several occupants inside the vehicles were trapped, and rescuers continued their efforts to save their lives.
