The Director General of Scientific and Academic Cooperation of the Cultural Organization announced the need to reform the system for attracting foreign students in Iran. This official pointed out the existing challenges in the admission and entry process for international students and emphasized the need to facilitate this process.

Existing Challenges in the Process of Attracting Foreign Students

In recent years, with the increasing interest of foreign students to study in Iran, the need for reform and improvement of existing systems has been felt. This government official referred to issues such as the confusion of applicants at various stages of admission and entry into the country, stating: "Students who are accepted by Iranian universities must be clearly informed about all stages and timelines related to their entry and registration."

He added: "Applicants must have accurate information about the required documents, the exact time of entry, and the registration process so that they can study in Iran with peace of mind." These problems can not only hinder the attraction of new students but can also affect the credibility of universities and educational institutions in the country.

The Necessity of Creating Suitable Infrastructure

The Director General of Scientific and Academic Cooperation of the Cultural Organization pointed out the necessity of creating suitable infrastructure for attracting foreign students and said: "There must be precise planning in collaboration with universities and other relevant institutions to facilitate this process." He also spoke about the actions currently underway and emphasized that efforts to improve conditions should become one of the main priorities.

According to him, reforming the system for attracting foreign students will not only benefit the students themselves but can also contribute to the cultural and scientific development of the country and increase scientific and cultural exchanges with other countries. This official also announced future programs and plans to improve the situation of foreign students in Iran and stated that they intend to provide more information to students by holding workshops and advisory sessions.

Finally, this government official called for greater cooperation between universities and educational institutions with each other and with relevant government agencies, emphasizing that only through collaboration and mutual understanding can an effective and efficient system be achieved that easily attracts foreign students.
